Kakaramea Nature Day
A wonderful creative day of directed free roaming, building, art, mud, gardens . . . plus a shared lunch and friendship. The first Wednesday of every month (except February, when it is the second Wednesday).
Social Arvo (Field Games)
The Tuesday after camp. Nothing will be organised for the hall, but if you are keen for a social
catchup we will hang out on the big field/playground (opposite the cadet hall) with some balls
and field games for a debrief and fun catchup.
Heracles - Shakespeare Festival
School event. The Greek myth of Heracles - reimagined. Performed by The Barden Party.
The Book of Will - Shakespeare Festival
School event. Telling the story of how Shakespeare’s plays were salvaged from oblivion by his friends after his death.

TERM 2 Art Co-Op - Crochet Classes
TERM 2 Crochet Classes, Tuesdays, 2pm - 3pm
These classes are run concurrently with our Art Classes. For older children, beginner and intermediate level. Parents are welcome to join in. Beginners will learn the basics of peggy squares, intermediate/advanced will learn more complex 3D crochet.
STEM Challenge: Rube Goldberg Machines

A fun experimental day creating Rube Goldberg machines to perform a simple task, like popping a balloon!

HOMESCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY
Our 5th annual homeschool cross country! Suitable for all ages, and 8 - 13 year olds can qualify for the Central Cross Country (Stratford) and Taranaki Champs (Hawera).

Taranaki Homeschool Pet Day
Our 4th annual homeschool Pet Day! Suitable for all ages. We have pets on show and judging, art and craft competitions, pony rides, a bake sale, activities and lots of games. A great time had by all.

This is a culture, art and history study of Scotland & Ireland… and a Cèilidh!

Presentation Skills PART 2 of 2
You can have the most knowledge and best ideas in the world, but if you can’t communicate those ideas, it’s a waste. An interactive session with Fraser Bliss to lear, practise and hone your presentation skills, especially useful for Country Day!
Art Expo and Weaving Workshop
Come and display the art you created last year, give a performance or recital, learn how to weave a flax flower (older children) and enjoy some weaving art. Shared afternoon tea, and social play afterward.

Pool Party!
A fun social event to celebrate the start of term. The Rawhit pool has a diving board, little kids pool, playgroud, big sun shades and is FREE! Bring your dinner.
