Lake Rotokare Educational Workshop - Extraordinary Ecosystems

Come along and join the Education Team at lake Rotakare for an action packed day learning about our extraordinary ecosystems.
Venue: Lake Rotakare Scenic Reserve
Ages suitable: all ages. Lesson catered to older students, younger students can be assisted by parents.
What to bring: warm clothes, walking foot wear, food and drink, sun hats
Are parents required to stay? Yes
Are parents required to help? Yes, with younger children. Also will need to be aware of and follow the health and safety requirements of the education program.

Lake Rotokare Camp - donation
If you’re planning to come, why not relax at the lake for a few days while you’re at it? We have gained permission to camp overnight in greater numbers than normally allowed. (Weather dependant, of course!)
Fishing, water sports, night kiwi walk, hiking trails, making s’mores, games and fun!
Date: Wed 18 Feb - Fri 20 Feb or Thurs 19 Feb - Sat 21 Feb. We’re allowed to camp for 3 days, so feel free to come on Wed, or stay til Sunday, up to you!
Pack in, pack out. Toilet facilities available, no showers. No open fires. One vehicle per family.
