COUNTRY DAY: Greece

  • Cadet Hall 25 Fenton Street Stratford, Taranaki Region, 4332 New Zealand (map)

Celebrating all things Greek, we will be holding a mini-Olympics, complete with leaf crowns and a torch relay! Alternate activity for older children.

This is a culture, art and history study of Greece. These events are designed for older children and teens to learn the skills of time-management, research, organising and presenting data, and delivering oral presentations. Younger children also join in with displays/presentations. We also have some crafts and activities, share food from that culture, and always have a wonderful time!

Shared lunch at 12:30pm, all families bring a large shared plate of Greek cuisine.

Please register at this link if you plan to attend, see possible topics to spark ideas and get further info on activities. If you have ideas for crafts/activities, please contact Paulette at pollybowlin@gmail.com.

Here is an oral presentation guide to go through with your children.

$2 per participating child (Inc members), or $5 a head (non-Inc members).
